IMEE MARCOS ACCUSES BBM, LIZA, AND THEIR CHILDREN OF DRUG USE IN SHOCKING INC RALLY SPEECH

In a political and familial earthquake that shook the nation, Senator Imee Marcos publicly accused her own brother—President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos, and even their children, including Ilocos Norte Representative Sandro Marcos—of being users of illegal drugs.

The explosive claims came during a massive Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) peace rally at the Luneta Grandstand on Monday evening, November 17, 2025, attended by an estimated 500,000 INC members—making it one of the largest public gatherings of the year.

“Ever Since We Were Kids…”

Speaking with visible emotion, Senator Imee revealed that her concerns about her brother’s drug use date back to their childhood.

“Ever since Bongbong and I were kids, the family already knew about him,” she said.
“Back then, because our father [Ferdinand Marcos Sr.] was still around, he wasn’t my responsibility yet. As he grew older, it became more concerning. I knew that he was using drugs.”

But the situation, according to Imee, worsened dramatically after BBM married Liza Araneta—whom she also accused of drug use.

“He became more addicted after marrying the First Lady… Liza is a drug user as well,” Imee alleged.

She went even further, claiming that the entire First Family—including presidential children—are not only using illegal substances but are also pressuring other relatives, including her own kids, to join them.

“Magpagamot. Alisin ang droga sa iyong sistema.”

In a tearful plea that silenced the massive crowd, Imee begged her brother to step down, go home, and seek treatment.

Hinihingi ko na tayo ay umuwi na. Mamahinga. Alang-alang sa iyong kalusugan. Kaya kong mabigo at mawala sa ’yo ang posisyon pero hindi ko kayang mawala ka sa amin. Ayusin mo ang sarili mo. Magpagamot. Alisin ang droga sa iyong sistema.

She added that she has deliberately avoided family gatherings since BBM assumed the presidency in 2022—except for official events or occasions with their mother, former First Lady Imelda Marcos—due to what she described as “blatant drinking and use of cocaine and other illegal drugs” in Malacañang.

Imee tied the alleged drug use directly to national governance, claiming it has led to a “flood of corruption” and disastrous policy decisions.

Malacañang Fires Back

The Presidential Palace swiftly denied the allegations. Undersecretary Claire Castro, Malacañang’s press officer, pointed to President Marcos Jr.’s past negative drug tests as proof of his clean record.

During a livestream on her personal YouTube channel Monday night, Castro questioned Imee’s timing and motives:

Kung totoong maka-Pilipino ka at totoong makabayan ka, Senator Imee, tumulong ka sa pag-iimbestiga. Dapat maituro. Dapat ma-pinpoint kung sino talaga ang sangkot sa korupsiyon. Huwag mong siraan ang kapatid mo. Hindi ito ang issue ngayon.

Political analysts note that the Senate is preparing to investigate several administration-linked corruption cases—and some of Imee’s closest allies may soon be under scrutiny.

A Family at War—With the Nation Watching

This is no ordinary political rift. It’s a fracture within one of the Philippines’ most powerful dynasties, playing out in real time before half a million witnesses—and now, millions more online.

Whether Imee’s claims are a desperate cry for help, a strategic political maneuver, or a long-overdue truth bomb, one thing is clear: the Marcos family is no longer speaking with one voice—and the nation is listening.
